Hi, I transfered some film to a camcorder and then onto the computer. Sence I have to up the framerate on the projector to get ride of the light flicker, I tried virtualdub and to lower the famerate from 29.***fps to 22 fps. It looks great on the computer but when I burn it to dvd it's jumpy. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

    Thanks

Pretty simple, 22 fps is not an acceptable DVD framerate. When you "burn it to DVD" a framerate conversion is taking place which makes it jumpy.

The links are just my signature.

You can change the fps down and show it on a computer at that rate, no problem. The problem comes when you want to transfer it to DVD. DVD has only 2 framerates: 25 fps for PAL, 29.97 for NTSC. If you convert your fps down then convert back up to DVD you will have a noticable jerkiness in the video. Not much you can do about it.

As for the flickering, well perhaps someone else may suggest a better solution than changing the framerate.

There's a deflicker filter for Vdub that you might find useful, look here.
