  1. I have a problem with my peice of crud. Ok when ever I try to watch a DVD on my dvd player what ever program I try to use it freezes and won't play. Any dvd and I've restarted many times.
I sent in an error report to microsoft and it came back saying
An unknown error occurred in A Filter (IVIVIDEO.AX), created by InterVideo, Inc.

I have InterActual player installed do you think maybe its keeping my dvd player from working. Ever since I got it its been cranky. Sometimes it has played dvds other times its done this thing.

I would suspicion Interactual player is still your problem. It seems to do some reconfiguring when installed. If you have XP, I would try a restore to before you installed it. I treat Interactual player like a virus, because of the damage I have seen it do to several systems. I recommend NEVER installing it.
