Hello.
I am doing a bunch of AVI to DVD conversions with anime that has subtitles added to the video, I'm assuming in .srt format. When I encode to DVD I have to mess around with the resolution to compensate for the really bad overscan that my tv has. When I do this, at times I end up with subtitles that are kinda small on screen (but I can read them all though!). Does anyone happen to know if there is a way to extract the subs and change the font size so that when I convert to DVD they will appear larger onscreen?

Depends how you are doing it. When you convert say from srt to sup, you can pick the font size. When you use say textsub to hardencode the subs you can set the font size. When you convert via dshow and use dvobsub to hardencode you can set the font size.

In your reply, are you referring to when the subtitles are originally added to the video? From your post, it seems that way but I am not sure. What I am wondering is... is there a way to change the font size after the subs have been already added? If so, I am really clueless as to how to do so.
