  1. I installed a Analog TV Tuner Card with a Digital cable box. I get all channels and works fine. I only have one concern, on the right side of the screen I get a small black vertical line, when in full screen is about half inch thick. Is this normal???

It is normal for many forms of video to have a bit of useless black on either or both sides of the image.

So what you are seeing may just be normal but it would help if you could add more insight.

1.) What capture card are you using?
2.) What capture program and what capture codec are you using?
3.) What resolution are you capturing at?

Also it would help if you could load the capture into VirutalDubMod to make a screen grab of the image. Pick a point in the video where the image is fairly bright so the blackness on the side (or both sides etc.) stand out easily.

In VirutalDubMod go to VIDEO across the top then under than select the option called, "Copy source frame to clipboard"

You can then use the PASTE function in any decent image editing program (even the Windows basic PAINT program will do) then save it as a JPG file and post it here so WE can actually SEE what YOU are seeing.

  4. I have a Kworld TV Terminator card, I'm using their software. Currently I'm using 1600x1200 for resolution on s-video input from Digital cable box output. In the software I have it on 640x800 but when I try changing the settings such as widescreen format or resolutions, it doesn't change when clicking OK. The PGM is cabller Quick TV. I'm trying to upload a image but it not showing up.
