  1. VCR into Canopus ADVC 100 >> from the Canopus ADVC 100 into my computer via firewire >> captured two hours of video footage using NeroVisionExpress >> the file (mpeg2) was 5GBs in size. Is this something that can be shrunk with DVDShrink and burned to DVD using Nero 6.3?

    Sure. I've done that many times when one of my captures runs over the limit. In my pre-DVDShrink days I re-captured :P

    Author the files into a VIDEO_TS folder on your HD. Then open DVDShrink and instead of clicking the "Open Disc" button at the top, click the "Open Files" button, and point it to your newly-authored files. Rip to a folder as usual and burn
