Just be careful you don't forget

I don't know how it is in Oz, but here they crucify you if you rig something like that in your car .....for the unlikely but possible scenario that the police or firemen need to move your car during some emergency.
No I have to activate it myself. 3-4 Km range Had a car moved twice by
authorities - both times not a scratch. These days now that I drive a good
car I'm less paranoid. If I get ripped, it's gonna be the whole caboose and
I'm fully insured including the modifications & after market addons. Its when your poor and uninsured that it really hurts.
That's good to know. It sounds like that car theft pissed you off offline I don't blame you a bit

im startin to look into real time gps trackers. it would be kinda nice to know where my car is without even calling the cops. just go where it is get it back and maybe some street justice without all the strings of the american judicial system attached. even if my next car isnt worth all that much it still would make me feel alot better

How much do these cost vs. a LoJack system? I looked at the LoJack some, you only pay the fee once, have it installed, and relax. However, what if the car is stolen while you are working, for example? It could be gone for hours before you realized it. By then the LoJack could've been detected and removed, presumably.

The other thing I found out: there aren't any LoJack stickers. The idea is stealth tracking, so they don't want to tip off the thieves and have them trying to locate the unit to disable it. So much for the sticker deterrence idea

i found a few nice one around the $400 range on ebay. the nice thing is they make em waterproof so you could hide em pretty well specially underneath the car

update. got the loan from a friend. got a 97 saturn sl2 with 127k miles for $1500. not too shabby. i dont know how long i can roll a stock car though, im already looking at custom parts lol

  6. If you catch someone breaking into your car you should be allowed to shoot them in the ******* face.

  7. Glad u got a ride so quick. In OZ there is no way
to get a decent car under 10K, but your saturn looks
    like a nice car.
