I have a few very large .avi files that I am trying to convert to a vcd and then burn it on a cd with Nero or EZCD. But, the problem is that the avi's I'm starting with (not my rips) are DVD rips that are around 650 - 750 MB in size, so some of them won;t even fit on a CD pre-conversion. How do I make them stay the same size (or even get smaller?) while converting to .mpg with TMPGEnc?
Thankz,

The simplest answer is this - if the movie is 80 minutes or less it will fit on an 80 min CD in VCD quality. If it's longer than that, it won't. If you care to go lower than VCD quality, by lowering the bit rate of the video or audio and making an XCVD, then you can fit more on the CD. Maybe you should read some of the guides to get some background information before you jump in with both feet.
