    I've followed Baldricks guide for this type of thing with mp3 sound and it worked fine but i can't seem to extract AC3 sound to convert to lamemp3. I get an error message"ACM reported error audio decompress", any help on the matter would be great thanks.

    Did you install the AC3-ACM decompressor?

    Just demux it and then convert it with BeSweet, HeadAC3he, etc.

    Could also try mkvextract or AVIMuxGUI to extract.
