Hi all, qst posting here I think.

I have an NEC ND2510A burner, the 8 speed dual layer one. Up to now I have been using cheap 4x DVD-R disks without problems, able to burn about 4.5gb of data without any hint of overburn.

Now these new 8x dvd-r disks I have are also rated as 4.7gb, but if I step over 3.89gb in nero it goes into overburn.....Anyone know why this may be.

Drive is using latest 2.17 firmware, nero version is 6.3.1.17

Any help would be appreciated.
