I am thinking of getting a TBC and I know they are expensive, but do you know of one that is the most inexpensive that still works well? I have some poor quality high gen tapes I want to put on VCD. The frames are torn. There is only horizontal sync problems, I have no vertical sync problems. I read a post by you that said you tried a VCD with built in TBC and it didn't helpt the vert. sync and you had to get a full stand alone TBC. What is this? Would it work for me since I don't have a vert sync problem? Do I need a TBC w/ frame synchronizer, or do I just need a frame synchronizer? Thanks.
