File Processing error

Hi Guys,

Asking for some help.

I am ripping a DVD+R using MTR 2.02 and the program states there is an error part way thru the rip.

I then try to rip using DVD Backup it reads a file error at the 28:28 point on the disc, "VTS_01_2_VOB file".

If I open the VTS file from that rip with my DVD player, it plays fine up until that point and then freezes.

I am stumped, can someone send me a good direction to get this ripped and burned.

This realy sounds like an incorrectly made disk..

If there is chance of an exchange ... take it.

Make sure there are no fingerprints or dirt on the disc, and also that there are no deep scratches. I've had both before that gave me errors.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies.

I have tried to rip a different disc and again get failure errors.

"Mirror of DVD failed"
"Mirror of the Set 2 failed"
"Read Failed for 512 at 191702"

Again, I can watch the origin disc w/o problem, and I can watch the VTS folder with my DVD player, but then quits.

I see that 91mb of 667mb had been ripped.

I will check with my buddy who I traded with and see what he thinks too.
