    There is no video showing in the preview window in DVDWS 2 with the latest update patch after I installed DirectX 9.0c,,, any ideas??

    From what I could find using a google search, you can just install 9.0b and it will remove 9.0c automatically.

    Get 9.0b from here:
    http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=directx

    well I tried that, didn't seem to work and the installation was wayyy too fast for it to have installed anyways...

    Try Start menu... run... dxdiag
    It will show you what is installed. The bottom of the main panel should tell you which version you have. Lots of valuable info.

    yes it's 9.0c

    DVDWS2 was working fine with 9.0b

    now what?

    I've always had to re-install video software after upgrading DirectX. Try re-installing DVDWS2.
