  1. I'm having a problem I can't seem to figure out. Any help would be great.

I recorded some appearances on a DVD-RAM disc on Panasonic E30 and transferred them to the computer. I can only get the .vro file to open in three programs - FlaskMPEG, MPEG Video Wizard, and DVD Author. FlaskMPEG is the only program I can get to convert audio from AC3 to what Ulead DVD MovieFactory can burn.

But the more annoying problem: When I burn them and put them in a DVD player (I've tried 4), the video looks jumpy. I read in a thread of a guy having the same problem ( https://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/t210509.html), but he captured his videos. I thought it was an interlacing problem, but I think that was kind of put to rest in that thread.

I used the frame by frame feature on a dvd player, and it seems that one frame has the picture, then the second seems raise the pixels one line, so it's like up, down, up, down. It's pretty much only noticeable on big movements. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Edit: Tried it with another video and did the frame by frame thing. It seems to show one frame, go to the next, back to the first, and repeated. Maybe I can make a .gif animation if that would be any clearer

What happens when you play one of the DVDRs on the E30 ? What about playing the DVD-RAM disc on it ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. Same result on DVD-R and DVD-RW in the E30. The files on the original DVD-RAM on which the files were recorded don't jump like on the -R and -RW (the videos that are still on there, at least).

I don't know how this might happen, but it sounds like somehow the fields have been reversed during the process.
