  1. How do you export a still frame from a video. Are there any programs i would need for this? Thank you

  2. Well, it depends on what type of video it is. For avi or mpeg, you might try HyperSnap or Camtasia, although you'll want to take the graphics acceleration all the way down on the player your using. For dvds, Womble is the easiest, but you usually have to rip the vobs to your hard drive first. Not all of the vobs, but at least the one with the image that you want to capture.

    You can capture single frames with WinDVD by hitting the P-key. The frame will be saved as 352x288 .bmp in a windvd subdirectory. Since windvd plays mpg as well as avi, this is quite a good solution.
