Help using Ghost to backup my OS.

I read here somewhere about backing up your OS to a 2nd Portition and then when ever you need to format you could install from the ghost image really fast, I'm going to try it by myself, do you have any tips can I also install all my drivers to before I make the Ghost image ?

I think the idea is that you get your PC to a fully-functional state (with all drivers and most frequently used software installed), and then you ghost it, so that if you ever need to restore, it's as new and fully-functional in a jiffy.
