    ok i am having a problem going from pal to ntsc (dvd) i was thinking maybe going from pal dvd to pal avi and using Cinema Craft Encoder to re encode back to dvd will that make it a ntsc dvd ? i tried the editing the vob files to trick the dvd player to think it was a ntsc disk but only one dvd player out of 9 played it. Maybe someone could help me out here , thanks

    First of all check to see if your hardware will play PAL DVD's. If it does there is no need to carry out a standards conversion.
