National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Finally a movie that tells the true meaning of Christmas.

Christmas bonus BAH! For the last twelve years mine have been hats, jackets, or cheap a$$ watches.

A Christmas Story edges out Christmas Vacation by a whisker. I like both, but no matter how many times I see A Christmas Story, I enjoy it as much as the first time

That's not to take anything away from the scene in Christmas Vacation when the lights dimmed, and you hear a "zzzhhhtttt! .......RAHH!!!!" when the cat bit the light cord. And Eddie, standing over the burned, smoking outline of the cat on the carpet, said "If he had nine lives, he just used 'em all"

  30. The Gift of the Magi is my favorite christmas story, although it's kind of a downer. I believe it was adapted in to a short film at one time or other.
