i can't believe how stupid walmart.com is. i called walmart.com to see if there was a certain dvd movie in stock that i wanted to order for a christmas gift. the movie was in stock so i order it along with a giftcard. i gave the address where i wanted the dvd movie and gift card shipped to. i go to check my email for confirmation and they have the freeking name of the street spelled wrong.
well i call customer service and was told by a cust. rep that they can not change the address or make the correction of the street name. i said why not and was told they just couldn't. i asked to speak with a supervisor who then told me she can go ahead and put in a cancellation but it's not guaranteed to be canceled. i asked why not because i am not paying for something that may not be delivered to the correct address. the supervisor said she will put in a cancelation but the order could be processed before the cancelation is recognized. at the time of my ph converstation with that supervisor the walmart.com site went down for maintenance.so even though she put in that cancelation it wouldn't be done until their website was fininshed with their maintenance.
i checked my email this morning and walmart said my order has been processed and shipped out via USPS. now i have to freeking sit and wait to see if my friend will receive the dvd movie and giftcard. mind you if she doesn't get it then i will have to take this up with stupid suckas walmart and my credit card company. i'm not paying for something that my friend may not receive because of the incorrect spelling of the street name.![]()

on a good note.. the bigest part of the address is the zip code.. SO if the street name and person name is close it will get there..
ive ahd this happen too.. if the name of the street is completly wrong then you might have and issue.

So THAT'S where this copy of Steel Magnolias came from. I was wondering why it was in my mailbox.

I have had the same problems with WalMart, during their free DVD rental period. Whenever I try to cancel, they would give me a stupid excuse that I can't cancel for blah blah blah....
Called up VISA and had them take care of it -
And Wal-Mart is to blame because.....you bought your keyboard there?
Just joking... but aren't all places l ike that? I mean if I order something anywhere, it is pretty hard to get it cancelled before it ships. It is supposed to be a good thing, speedier delivery. -

It sucks to get farked over especially when it's a christmas gift that I purchased for my friend. -
budz - Their processing center is probably in someplace like Atlanta, where they never see names like "Olokea Ave." and "Huake Place."
Kind of off topic, but been to the Ala Moana Walmart yet? I avoided shopping there until recently, in strike of big crowds. When I went, it was surprisingly empty. In fact, it's usually more crowded when I drive out to Kunia at 9:00. -

Yuh, I go to the wally world near Ala Moana and it's not crowded at all. I'll be going there tonight after work to pick up some kids toys. I like the fact they have a wally world in town since I'm a townie. -
Ever get fixed?
