  1. Hi ppl
I tried to re-author a dvd5 with new subtitle, what I did was demuxing and then remuxing with IFO edit , but it is playing at 2x speed and movie finish about half time of original DVD even though the audio is playing normal at 1x speed and my sub is even slighly unsync as much as it get closer to end of movie.

the M2V file shows 23.97 FPS when I read it in VirtualDUB and it is fine by DVDPatch and ReStream and I even rebuild the file with them, I tried to convert it to D2V by DVD2AVI and VFapi and it was playing right and converted perfectly to AVI for editing (I sync my sub to that AVI file at 29.97 Persecond)

one more hint when I tried mux the AVI file the original Ac3 there was about 4 second sync issue at the end of dvd and it was almost fine for first 10 minute of movie.

is there any chance to repair or rebuild this buggus M2V file?

PLEASE HELP ME. IT'S BUGGING ME BADLY

Ifoedit has been known to be buggy for NTSC authoring. There was a recent release a couple of weeks ago (ver. 0.971 I seem to remember) which supposedly has solved this bugginess (according to the author/changelog, I haven't tested it myself). Try that or use rejig for ntsc.
Sorry, I had to go see about a girl

  3. I know about that ntsc issue and I have got the updated version but its still the same even with ReJig. I am sure the M2V has corrupted or bad header, as I said Virtual Dub open it and play back at 23.97 for framerate which is the first time I see this... I tried to rebuild the header by DVDPatcher and ReStream but no luck.

    thanks
