    im burning vcds. what kind of dvdr cds should i get. please only cds that are sold at best buy

    Look for FUJI packs of CD-R discs that say MADE IN JAPAN. Those are the best you can buy ... anywhere!

    Do NOT buy the FUJI CD-R packs that say MADE IN TAIWAN. Those are inferior.

    What I say also applies to packs of FUJI DVD-R discs. You only want the packs that say MADE IN JAPAN.

    You want DVD-R not DVD+R unless your DVD burner/recorder is one of the DVD+R only types ... in which case you are screwed!

    CDRs are CDRs.

    No such thing as DVDR CDs
    If in doubt, Google it.

    You want DVD-R not DVD+R unless your DVD burner/recorder is one of the DVD+R only types ... in which case you are screwed!

    Taiyo Yuden DVD-R discs are the best. Any FUJI DVD-R package that says MADE IN JAPAN is really Taiyo Yuden DVD-R brand. You can't go wrong!

    The next best and probably just as good are the Maxell DVD-R packs that say MADE IN JAPAN (beware because just like the FUJI brand some will say MADE IN TAIWAN). These are sold at many retail outlets but not at BEST BUY.

    If you are willing to buy on-line you can get Taiyo Yuden DVD-R discs direct from this web site ---> RIMA.COM
