Spent the last few months converting a few things from VHS/bcast sources into digital files. I have a bunch that together are less than 4 GB, and would like to use sizzle to burn it.
Question - Has anyone made a script to automate adding menus/chapters in sizzle for a bunch of input files? i.e., drag and drop a bunch of files onto the script, and get a sizzled image?

ok, no takers on that. Then let me try another, related question about sizzle..
I have a fairly simple project (as noted above). I have 9 episodes in mpeg-2 format (converted from Mpeg-1). I dont need any fancy hierarchical menus - just one intro menu with buttons for each of the 9 episodes.
But looking at the help in sizzle, and the tutorial referred to in this group, I cant figure out how to ONLY do a one-level menu. I see the "add title" button and the stuff for adding chapters, but cant figure out how to do ONLY one top-level menu with 9 buttons, each going to one of my 9 files.
Can someone offer a hint on how to do this with one menu? Am I adding titles to the front menu? I can't seem to do it that way. -
Is menu support even working in Sizzle? Anyone? I use DVD Studio Pro, so I'm not too familiar with Sizzle...
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté." -
Sizzle starts with the TOC menu and needs a menu for every title according to the Help documentation. You may be out of luck. If you are burning with Toast, you could always use it to create a simple menu for you. There is a tutorial around somewhere for switching out the menu background image. Otherwise you may have to go with iDVD or DVD Studio Pro.

ALL
Maybe I should start a new post, but I am having a big problem with sizzle...
Regardless of whether I add the big chunk of episodes as a single movie (broken into chapters) or as separate episodes (each 1 chapter), when I save as disc image and then preview it in DVD player, only the first chapter is there (I can also surmise this from the file size of the IMG file).
So even though I have created a separate chapter button (or titles) for each of the episodes, only #1 burns.
Any clues why? -
My guess is timecode breaks are messing with your joined mpeg. Use MPEG Streamclip or MoreMissingMPEGTools to fix your timecode. Or try demuxing and re-multiplexing your joined mpeg. This sometimes works as well.

I had a similar problem with Sizzle which led me to this Toast solution found in this thread: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=245476
I hope it's of some use to you. [/url] -
Seems like MovieGate can also master DVDs from video streams. I'd give that a shot...
