    I was wondering, I converted an SVCD to VCD using the tutorial in the conversion section, but I was wondering when i converted it, it was half the size, I wouldnt mind converting it to the same size, how can I improve the quality when coverting to VCD, plz, thnxs

    you could make it a non standard VCD (or xVCD) by raising the bitrate above 1150

    that will improve the quality but it will never be _better_ than the source -- if your source is a bit fuzzy or has background noise then you can keep the bitrate the same and apply some filters
