Newbie in need of help wth Closed Captioning pls

Hi,

I've searched the site several times, along with the forum. I'm in need of help for the following.

- Have transfered VHS tapes to VCD/MPEG-1 format. I have the CC text file from the VHS but I need help in adding it to the video source now.

What programs would I use to do this with.

Which is the "EASIEST" way to do it. I've found alot of guides aren't newbie friendly, being very technical without explaining assuming you already know.

I'd also like to know how I can put on 3-4 mpeg files onto 1 DVD-R disk. Can I just burn them with a DVD program? I have a DVD/CD-Rom but not a DVD Burner do I need one to be able to do this?

I appreciate the help, please keep it simple - english instruction is difficult. TY
