I've tried everything I can think of to get this audio file to convert to DVD format.
It's an mp3 track. I've transcoded a wav with Cool Edit Pro (to use to create mps or ac3) and wav, ac3, mp2 with Besweet GUI. All processes work fine according to the logs, but usually play speeded up and distorted. If they do play on a player, the sync might be off.
I finally got a mp2 that worked in the DVDAuthor during the clip edit, but I get an "illegal audio format" message about thirty seconds into the authoring.
The original file is mono, by the way, if that matters. I was careful to make sure the bitrate was 224 and the rate at 48000 hz. Any ideas what is going wrong?
