Original RETAIL ONLY DISCS games for LIVE.......

I think it has to do with some kind of embedded protection on the disc.

Actually there are two online ports for playing backups over the net... xbconnect and one other one. Though don't know if you can use your xbox live nickname....

Hmm. Have you ever heard of emulators for the xbox which allow people to play xbox games w/out an xbox on their pc? I had a friend tell me it could be done but I was unsuccessful in finding anything concrete.
