problem splitting dvd9 to 2 dvd5.

I followed the guide over at doom9 for using ifoedit to do this. I followed all the instructions to a "T". My problem is when I go to burn the two dvd's the first one fails in recordnow max, so I tried nero. In nero it says file allocation wrong needs video_01_7.vob . I made sure to correct the vts sectors on all the ifo files on both discs. Does anyone know why this is not working properly? this is the guide I used

I didn't make the dvd's into iso's I'm trying to burn them using recordnow max. thanks

One of the IFOs is still pointing to VTS_01_7.VOB for some reason, even though it shouldn't be. Would you consider using DVDShrink in reauthor mode, with compression set at no compression, and use it's start/end feature to do the splitting instead ?
