  1. Hello, I have a very rare concert laserdisc that I captured to MPEG2 so I can burn a DVD so that I don't have to use the original disc(and risk scratching it) to watch it.

I have a question though. I have separated the vocals to a center channel and audience noise to rear channel WAV files. I tried using the Maven3D Profession trial version to encode a 5.1 channel AC3 file for the DVD i'm going to burn. Problem though, unfortunately that program does not allow exporting to AC3 when it's being used as a trial.

Sooo... does anybody know of a freeware program that will encode 5.1 AC3 or at least shareware that allows saving during the trial period?? please help!!

    thank you!

assuming you have 6 mono WAVs in 16bit/48KHZ
use besweet with the mux option and the ac3enc.dll (FAQs and tricky settings), HeadAC3he (024a12 ->latest) or any other commercial decoder.

    bye Daphy
