Hello,
Now that I have DSL (300kbs) I tried earlier to look up streaming tv websites but didn't find much that was good.
Any suggestions???

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

Check out Comedy Central's website, it normally has clips from most of its shows like Chapelle, The Daily Show etc.

Here's one that I wanted to try, but I'll
let you try it first. I don't want any lawyers
knocking on my door!
TV.org
Does anybody know if it's legal???
EDIT....... Oops....that's not a TV broadcast.
A web TV site that was cool was thebasement.com.au
They used to broadcast their web-radio disc-jockeys. The
best DJ was named Reg. He was really worth watching!!!
They stopped broadcasting like that, but you can check in
from time to time. Maybe they'll come back.
There is a large website of online TV stations. I'll try to
find it. Might take a while!
EDIT............. This might be it...... mediahopper.com

TV.org not only looks illegal it looks like it is trying to sell free P2P software for money.

What's your plan rated at? If it's 384 or above I'd call (still Ameritech, right?) and see what they can do about getting you at least up to your rated minimum. It beats dialup, but you're paying more too.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
