    It's a gift for someone who wants to be able to copy German educational DVDs to VHS to show to students in a class.

    Take a dvd player you're interested in buying, write the model number down, then enter it into the web link above. There will be a list of available hacks if any.

    The other option is if you have a pc dvd burner you could backup it up to be region and macrovision free on the dvdr
