Hi,
Could anyone tell me how with IFOedit I can tell a dvd to return to the main menu when the movie ends.

You can do that with PgcEdit (which makes it much easier than IfoEdit to modify the DVD program flow). And it's free too!
Just open your DVD in PgcEdit. Find where your movie is (should be easy, there's even a preview in PgcEdit) and go to the post-command area.
There you'll want to insert a command at the top of the post-command area
[30 08 00 00 01 83 00 00] 1 (CallSS) Call the VTSM Root menu of the current VTS, resume cell 1
since the root menu will probably be in the same VTS. To do that simply click on the "********** Post commands" line and click on "Add After".
Double click on the NOP command and change it to the command above.
This should do the trick.

While we're on this subject how about a method for patching a DVD to keep replaying the main movie over and over when you hit the end. Will be great for amusing the kids.
