  1. is it safe to use dvd rebuilder and anydvd at the same time? thus, skipping the step of ripping to HD first.

    and since dvd-rb takes a long time, the dvd drive will be busy for 7-9 hours at least. and i have done this about 20 times.

    should i rip to HD first, THEN use dvd-rb?

    it will put a lot of unnecessary wear on your drive. but go ahead and do it. you can always buy a new one if that one burns out

    You may find processing is faster from a harddrive, rather than the DVD drive. I always rip first, as I will often run it through Shrink to strip it down (with out compressing) before letting DVD-RB have it's way with it.

    Any dvd's with less than %10 trimming,i use anydvd and clonedvd2.More than that i rip to the hard drive,strip it down and then use dvdrb.
