Pioneer v1.18 Firmware For DVR-108

Pioneer has released new set of firmware updates for their 16x DVD RW drives, the DVR-108, DVR-108AXL, DVR-A08XLA and DVR-S806.

Change log for firmware v1.18:

So even if i live in Canada this firmware update will work for the pioneer 108 burner that im getting?

It worked for me here in the US, so it should be okay in Canada as we use the same standards....
