    Hi,

I'm trying to use Xing encoder V2.20 to encode a 90 minute Avi to Vcd. However, Xing will only encode the first 30 seconds. I can't find a setting to bypass this, and the version I am using is registered, so I don't think it's some kind of trial limitation. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I know Xing doesn't provide as high quality output as other programs (like Tmpg), but It's a lot faster, so I'm using it to make a quick file I can test splitting/burning,etc. with before I encode with Tmpg (which would take around 24 hours).

    Thanks.

Xing does not have a source range filter. That's why it is a trial limitation. Probably you registered the copy in a wrong way.

  3. Xing is a very old program and it hasnt come across some of the newer Avi files(DIVX) and i sugest you use LSX encoder and it is just as fast as XIng and it gives better quality

    Thanks for the replies guys,

I re-installed Xing and it seems to be working fine now. I tried to download LSX but can't seem to find a working link anywhere.

    Thanks Again
