  1. I've tried converting an AVI file to DVD using WinAVI and DIKO. Everything seemed to go fine, so I burned onto a DVD+RW. When I played it in my DVD Player, it would play each second, but it would basically freeze at the end of each second for 3 seconds before playing the next second. If I put it in fast forward, it went normally. I can't figure out what else to try. I've read several posts here and every guide I can find. Any help at all greatly appreciated! Thanks.

  2. Try reading about a method which does not use an all-in-one program. You will get much better results. You may also identify the problem the all-in-ones are having, i.e. strange audio format, bad frames etc, and then be able to ask a more consice question.

  3. Could also be a problem with media, burn speed or your player itself.

Read some old posts, try some new discs or try the disc you have created on a different dvd player.
    If it's wet, drink it

To rule out media problems play the files the programs create on your computers software DVD player before you burn.

If you don't know where the files are search your whole computer for *.ifo then sort by date modified.
