  1. I just got SVCD2DVD and it works nicely... i have tried version 1.5 and then even 2.... version 2 is nice... i have some suggestions if possible..

    1) version 1.5 has Sample maker... can it be added to version 2
    2) also... version 2 does keep the audio pretty much in sync, but for some added benefits being ablt to adjust it....
    3) love the menu with audio, but is there a way to use like an intro menu, then an actual menu.... i guess multiple menu's to link to then movies..
    4) I like the idea of using NERO to burn the movies automatically....as some may know Nero "costs".... and a REALLY good one that MANY, including myself use is FREEWARE DVDdecrypter.... i was wondering if there was a possibility to add the optin for an ISO maker..... and then even being able to add teh optoin to BURN the ISO with DVD decrypter...

I know that i may get flammed for posting this, just trying to help make suggestoins on making this an awesome all in one application.... a friend refered me to this program and i bounced these ideas against him and he liked them so i hope others do too..

  2. like them few more would be to have a background but with area to put the front cover of movie and make it look smarter than just a background with Text labels even having an image as a label good example is like Walking tall with the front cover as the rock in walking talk as the play button

I do this now but using DVD Menu Studio and exporting as a bitmap before loading that into SVCD2DVD and creating a few underlines to places under each picture.

It is the same tool. You would have it on your system twice. Just set up a shortcut to it.

Could you explain this one? I thought being in sync was a good thing

I suppose that in another version this could be a goal. The whole framework currently is based on the one menu assumption - it would therefore be a v3 consideration.

Good idea. I will add this.

Possibly but it takes a few minutes to make such a menu in DVDMM. I do it all the time. My main focus now is to get what is in the current feature set robust.

yes you are correct.... i used Mainconcept Mpeg encoder to encode some AVI's (svcd2dvd didn't have the options needed that Mainconcept had) to mpeg2.... the audio was exact.. very nice to the original release.... i then used svcd2dvd and the dvd was nice, but i noticed that the audio could have been slowed down maybe .45 ms... or so and would have been alot better.... the voices would start right as the mouth moved so it wasn't bad, and couldn't tell in most scenes it was the slow, non-action scenes that actually gave it away... other than that it was very good.....

I checked the original avi and the re-encoded mpeg2 to see if ti was on, and it was......

Thats the only reason i ask.. its not that big, can hardly tell, but like i said would be an added feature to make this program even better...

So are you saying that the mpeg produced by SVCD2DVD is in sync yet the dvd is not? Is this in your standalone player or via a software player? If only one can you try the other?

BTW: I have DVD Decrypter working now. I will add CopyToDVD too for the next build.

  9. well that was on my dvd player (had it 3 years and plays basically everything..lol.. RCA)... anyway.... i checked it on my computer.. i mounted the ISO i made with UltraISO with daemon tools... with mediaplayer...... the voices were PRETTY MUCH ON GOOD..... so yes v2 works nicely.... my bad... <<<SHOOT ME.. must have been drinking too much........... WATER..hehe.. you know swelled the brain a little.... anyway.. i let a friend borrow the dvd i made... when he gives it back i will play it in my computer.... and ask him if he notices anything......

BUT SWEEET..... you got DVDdecrypter working.. nice...... can you just use it to make an iso without burning also..... just wondering.....

I REALLY appreciate you taking these into consideration.... so far this software has been a GREAT investment... everyone seems to like helping eachother.. and i like the idea where everyone puts in input to make it better...

    Blayze...
