  1. Hello members,

I'm new here, and I been making VCDs for quite a while now, just I encounter this problem several times, I copy my VCDs with VCDEasy, when I prepare to burn I restart my pc, and turn off all programs, so when it burns the vcd, it has no distractions,

Well sometimes, the picture stucks and gets smudged when I play it on my dvd player, I think you people know what I mean, I think glitched is the word for it,

Well is there any way that this can not occur, coz it drives me nuts, and I keep re-copying cds just so that my vcd collection is all perfectly copied.

Can you people give me some help regarding this,

    Hi Xonnie316,

It could be faulty media (i.e. bad discs). What brand are you using?

Try a different (better / good) brand...
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

    Carpe diem.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

I think it's possibly this, but more likely it's a clash between the CDs you're using and your player IMO. The easiest way to test this is to play one of your burnt CDs on your computer. My guess is that one that skips and smudges in your DVD player will play perfectly on your PC. If this is the case, your DVD player has a conflict with the brand of CDs you're using. If you're "lucky", another brand of CDs might give you better results. If you switch the brand, and get the same thing (plays OK on PC, no good in DVD player), well, some DVD players just don't like CDs
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. I use Ridata CDs (50 Pack)

They are good, the shows I put on vcds usually are great and work smoothly,

Just the thing is when I copy them on cd,

Coz sometimes they glitch at the end of a disk, when it buffers down,

But then I have a ppv, I put it on disc, and then through out the whole disc, glitch here and there, and loses my fun.

So I think its a thing about recording.
