I wonder if in certain parts of the world where it is cold that those children are intentionally bad just to keep the house warm during the winter. My dad would probably tell me to be an a** just so the energy bill wasn't so high. He's the guy that kept the thermostat at 67F during the winter and 85F during the summer. He'd gotten so used to budgeting money for power bills, that when all of us kids left he had so much money for the winter months he now decks the whole house out with lights for the holidays. I used to get a hand across my backside for turning on the christmas lights when it wasn't Christmas eve or day.
