Hello,
Toast does change some ifo and bup files, frustrating people with MD5 checksum files not longer matching up and so on. Actually, it seems that Toes does the right thing.
This thread here was a lot of help, but there was lacking a conclusion:

So - I guess getting that Dual Layer Pioneer DVR-108 wasn't necessary after all. My drive was fine. Well. It's nice to have new stuff anyway
