Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
-
What's even stranger is that the speeds they mention as being still in production until recently are the 66 MHz bus versions and not the 100 MHz bus ones
-
You can still get them at the first and third saturday swap meets here in dallas.
They sell them for about $15. -

No, it's just that the intel products are wayyyyy toooooo expensive and AMD offers more bang for the buck.Originally Posted by yoda313
AMD normally whips intel anyway. -

I know in one thread I suggested to someone that they had better be running SP2 lest you find out about it! :P
I believe the thread in question, I was suggesting they update Nero due to issues with SP2, but I don't recall ever suggesting they use SP2!

Ditto. Haven't bought anything made by Intel since I bought my first AMD K6-III PC in 1999. Don't remember the details but Intel's business practices were quite shady in those days which is partly why I switched to AMD. That and the tremendous price\performance advantage of AMD. Back then Intel paid for round the clock TV ads while AMD used that cash to make their products cheaper and better.Originally Posted by bazooka
But I never dreamed to see the day when AMD would be as far ahead of Intel as they are today.
