  1. If there is a thread on this already, please point me to it.

I don't post here often, so I'm not sure actually where to even post this question.

I have Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 and decided that I hate it. I created a home video using DVD Builder and it must have a glitch or something. After I save it and go back in for about the 3rd time, it all of a sudden changes all of my menu's to be the exact same menu as the last menu I created. Really weird and frustating!!

I'm looking for a better software. Should I go with Ulead or Nero? Should I get a more expensive version even though I'm only doing simple editing (adding transitions, menu's, cutting out video, etc.)???

    Thanks

Even though Nero is king when it comes to burning, its video editing capabilities are crap. Go with Ulead (or try them both for yourself as they are both available as trial downloads).

  4. I agree, Ulead over Nero and Roxio for what you need.
