  1. Nero always assign Image record to Destination driver and does not allow to change to the actual driver.
Per Nero website, I ran Clean-Drives and Registry Checker utilities since I had Easy Cd Creator and maybe some incompatibility issue could happen.
What am I missing here ?

    Thanks

  2. It sounds like Nero isn't recognizing your recorder. Are you sure it's installed and working properly?

  5. My IO Magic DVD Writer is working fine. I can watch movies using PowerDVD (Even though the image freezes).
I am using Nero Express 6 and it recognizes both drivers as Source but only assigns Image recorder to Destination.

  6. FYI, I've installed Sonic RecordNow only for testing purpose. It says that my DVDRW IDE 16 is "IN USE BY" and does not allow me to record. I am frustrated big time. I installed my DVDRW last week and I haven't burned a single cd...

    Let me know your thoughts.

  7. Did you set the jumpers right, e.g. master & slave? Nero could be too old to recognize your writer, nero.com has lists of what you can use with it I suppose.

'in use' might meanyou have another program open usin g it.

  8. I figure out what happened :
I had also PowerDVD installed and under diagnostic tool I selected my DVDRW driver as DMA. This made NERO not recognize my drive. When I unchecked the DMA option Nero became to work fine. FYI
