  1. How do I change what video Codec Windows Media Player 10 uses to playback MPEG files?

I know I have several codecs installed i.e. Sonic, CyberLink, Nero, etc... but how does WMP decide which one to play. At the moment nero is what is being used to play.

If you want to stop nero from being the mpg2 codecs then goto program files/common files and delete DSFilters from the ahead folder.
