Give yourself some bragging rights here.
I'm almost finished with my Nintendo PC (Personal Creation). All I need is a 9VAC power supply. I'm currently at the stage of turning the cartridge slots into Drive bays. Once done, I will mount the motherboards and work on turning the Bay Blanks into controller ports. I had to get specialty screw risers for the boards, since the bottom of the boards have the funky ports for expansion (which Nintendo seemed to make for virtually nothing that anyone used). However, I may turn them into a specialty cable for the select few who have the worthless add ons. Haven't decided that yet. The NES cartridge slot has been glued into the down/locked position and cut, with my Dremmel, so it is exactly wide enough to fit into a drive bay. But I will have to fashion some sort of faceplate for it. I cut the top of the N64 so I could keep the trap door style for loading the cartridge. I just measured for centering and size of the drive bay. It is pretty simple for cutting, but I haven't figured out How I will mount the Cart Port to the bottom. I don't want to Epoxy it straight to the slot. The SNES is a bit more tricky. I kept most of the top part as it was partly sectional. I wanted to keep the trapdoor on this unit too. So far I have cut the width so it is wide enought to fit into a drive bay, but it's slightly tall. About 1 1/2 Drive bays in height. I'm going to wait until I have a drive box assembled with the Cart Port, before I decide wether or not I'm going to cut it to the Drive Bay height. I might just use fiberglas and wire mesh to form it into a full 2 bays in size and put the controller ports right below. The Controller ports just came right out of the case. I did have to cut off part of the board with the power LED and resistor to make space for the controller ports to fit Drive Bay width, but I'm redoing the power light in another area, so it isn't going to be a problem.
The whole thing will be Composite out, though I have found a way to add a digital/analog converter to make it S/PDIF or S/Video, though it's not going to do anything for quality. Thus the reason why I'm just going to leave it composite. I'd be further ahead, but I have very little time to work on it. It took me 2 weeks just to solder the extending cables for the NES and SNES controllers. I haven't even started on the N64 controller ports, but I haven't even figured out how I want to mount them, because there are 4. Nintendo went all ergo-streamlined on the N64, so I might have to do specialty cuts and make new fiberglass holders.
I'll be posting pictures of final product and process when I'm done.

I just put together a computer to act as a video recorder, Digital TV converter and to download and store DIVX video. Sorry no pics, I'm at work. It sits in the front room beneath the projector screen with 25' cables for the mouse, monitor and KB to my coffee table.
It uses a Uneec med tower case, a cheap Chaintech MB, DVD ROM, DVD burner, Two 80G drives I had handy. (Always need more)
I have a DVICO HDTV converter card and a indoor antenna for local stations. Four of them transmit HDTV, sometimes in high quality.
The Vid card is ATI based, a Sapphire 9520, I think. I use the DVI output with an ATI converter to component video. I feed this into my video projector. (Much better than SVHS output.) 5 X 8 ft. projection screen and surround sound.
So far it's working great. I can feed out DIVX videos or live local video to the big screen with very good quality. Still some fine tuning needed, but I like it. The computer stays on 24/7 downloading from a cable modem, and I can still play the video files at the same time. -

That and the freakin walls here (Europe) are terrible. Just like concrete only some spots are OK for drilling....some parts crumble where you drill. And of course every important spot I need to drill into is that latter scenario.
Just like THICK old plasterboard in older American homes....HATE that crap. -

Numerous home improvement projects including:
Stain and varnish new interior basement door that I installed last weekend.
Repair basement exterior door frame then replace the door there. Then order new storm door (custom size).
Finish removing paint from downstairs closet door jamb, then repaint and reinstall door there.
Put another coat of paint on outside of front door.
Finish drywall around vent in front bedroom and prime and paint and install air register.
Rebuild gate valve that leads to back faucet.
And sometime this week I'll probably get around to building my new computer too.
I'll be lucky if I can finish all of this by the end of the year. -
My main project for now is to get more familiar with Linux (I'm running Slackware) and get good with system administration. I will then move on to more video-related things in linux.
I have done:
- upgraded nvidia video card
- modified fstab to get all drives recognized
- modded out KDE to be personalized to me
- installed a bunch of apps -
Right now - Connecting up a branch to connect to head office via WAN, and connect to a different branch via VPN
Working on my cricket club's website
Testing AutoGK, Dr Divx and all the other DVD to Divx/Xvid tools so I can play some AVIs on my new Zensonic Z330
Creating engagement party invitation and mail mergeIf in doubt, Google it. -

I know you're paying me out yet I'm just not catching on. I blame it on the fact its too early in the afternoon. -
That's true. Actually I need the thing that usually comes after the date but thats another story.
My curiousity with social engineering is more to do with what I want to do for my career: corporate espionage. -
