If the audio is 5.1 AC3, you can simply load the VOBs in ReJig and demux the AC3 track. From there, to decode/extract just the center channel, I'm lost!

  4. If it's an Ac3 file then use:-

1.ReJig (ifo mode) to demux the vob files directly from the DVD.
2.Avisynth (using a combination of 'Directshowsource' and 'getchannel')
3.Framserve the resultant avs file from above to Virtualdub and 'save wav'

You then have a single channel wav file.

There are probably other and quicker ways of doing it but this way is FREE

  5. Can you please tell me the easiest way. I am not an expert user. I have copied VOB files on HDD and from there i want to extract all the 6 channels in different wav files.

    Hello,

Simple, use besweet. Then select vob to ac3. Also select 6 wavs. Then you'll get your individual files.

  7. I would use Headac3he to do this. Converts Ac3 to wav, mp2 etc, allows you to select which channels you want.
