Problems using D.I.K.O

I have managed to encode som AVI movies to DVD now, but there seem to be another problem. The program says the movie has the wrong FPS, and is therefor not supported in D.I.K.O. It also says on some AVI clips that the clip is read-only, which it is not. So can anyone please help me solve these problems?
