Hello friends !
I have got few discs with high values of PI due to a bad burnt process.
These disc are RitekG05. Should I have to copy them again right to avoid the data loss or the data will remain sure with the time ?
In the dye surface there's not sign of bad errors, but in kprobe scan values are constantly higher than 500.
Is there some that can help me ?
Thanks a lot from Italy![]()

kprobe is only one test.
Do not rely on it too much, as it can give bogus results.
Does the disc play? What do other software give as results?Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

If I have to be honest I used kprobe with a combodrive.
I know I'm wrong but I haven't any LiteOn drive and trying to do the scan with different programs(Nero CD-DVD speed and DvdInfoPro) the PI scan doesn't want to start.
I also perfomerd a speed test with Dvdinfopro :
and with Nero :
Nero appears to be perfect but what about the other ?
Does anybody know if there's a different program that allow to me PI errors scan with my drive LG GSA4120B?
Thanks for every reply !

The scans show CMCMAGAE1 media, not RITEKG05.
So ....... which is it?Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

The object of the topic was RitekG05 and with them I have PI values always higher than 350 and an AVG of 400. These values tell me that these disks aren't good for my writer, even if I have no problem with standalone player.
I introduce then the picture of CMC scans to ask somebody the reason of the different between the nero curve and Dvdinfopro curve.
The AVG of Pi values of CMC MAG AE01 is below than 20.
But this last PI scan is obtained with a combo drive. (not LiteOn). Is there a program similar for LG writers ?

I use dvdinfo to test mine for bad blocks.
No bad blocks and it plays = good burn to me
