I can remux a video file and audio file in IFO edit to author to dvd, but it only seems to allow one file at a time.
Is it possible to assemble several files to author to one dvd or to do it in batch mode??

You can join the video first but it is not worth it. Why not try some other authoring tooools like dvdauthorgui, gui for dvd author (freeeeeeeeeeeee).
