    im ripping segents of some dvds, to combine into one large dvd using tmpg dvd author, but my version tmpg dvd author will not accept mpeg audio, how can i get round this ?

    Hello,

    You could use besweet and convert the mp2 audio to ac3. Should work.

    can anyone point me to a good easy to use guide to convert mp2 to ac3 please, and isnt there a plug-in for dvd authour so that it can use mpeg audio

    or ffmpeggui or belight.

    or convert the mp2 to wav and use in tmpgenc dvd author.

    ok ive downloaded ffmpeggui and also belight, but i cannot get to open any files into the programs..............could the problem be i have the dvd ripped segments in VIDEO TS and AUDIO TS folders, and there is no data as usual in the audio ts file, is so how do i rip the segments and what program d i use
