    A curiosity poll:

What brand of chipset is on your motherboard? Regardless of which brand or type of CPU.

I myself have managed to use SiS for AMD processor chipsets in almost all the computers I have bought or built for other people.

For shame! That's what you get for buying an eMachine from BestBuy!

BTW, glock, bazooka, one of you guys didn't vote! Everybody should vote!

In case you guys with multiple computers are confused, just use the chipset from your main, or most used, or most powerful, or favorite computer. You know what I mean.

Also, I added a Mac option (I always forget to ).

I did vote but you did not have an option for via and SiS, so I voted for Via.

    I can't vote twice.

Still haven't researched that yet yoda? It's probably Intel. That's what a lot of those cheap-ass systems use. Like my cheap-ass Dell!

Nvida (My favorite), SiS, Via. Depends which computer. Throw in a G4 Mac also. All AMD, no Intel.

From fastest to slowest computers in my house. Seems to be dominated by Intel processors I guess, though the last two aren't very good implementations.

I've used via in the past with very few problems, but after my current nForce2 I think I prefer them hands down. If only their driver package wasn't so LOL XBOX huge.

My first computer was a VIA based chipset and happened to be the trinity of doom. It was the KT133A or something, which didn't like the ATI AIW card, which didn't like my Soundblaster Live!.

My current computer uses the AMD 760MP, the one downstairst is a SiS, and my work computer is an Nvidia.

I've always used Intel systems for my video production. I have an SIS Gigabyte/Barton 2500 setup as my internet cruiser. Intel may not be the fastest, but very stable.
