NICE! I'm a bit partial to the 6-button setup myself.

Looks ike just a controller from the cables stretched out. They shouldn't be going to anything else.

Nice.

A buddy of mine got something like that with 8 buttons and sometimes when we'd play SF it would trip me up. I'd either hit buttons that didn't do anything, or lose my finger placement and end up doing the wrong move.

The more buttons they add, the more confusing it gets.

IIRC the original SF didn't even have six.

SF1 has 2 or 4, I forget.
SF2 always had 6, some of the last weirdo ones had 7.
MK always had at least 5.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

MK had 5 up until 3 when they added a "run" button.
EDIT: actually, I remember playing MK once on what must have been an old SF board. It had six buttons but one of them (I think it was the bottom middle) didn't do anything. His name was MackemX

If I'm not mistaken, SF1 actually involved some form of pounding involved.

For the real hardcore. 'Cept the whole 8 button thing. Why can't they just put those off to the side. There were more than enough 6-button games to make it worth using a 6-button controller just for them and switching to something more 'homey' for other games.

I agree I wish they had put two on mine off to the right
